Welcome to the Digital Integra

The primary decision one needs to make when looking at software is what operating system to use. While I would generally prefer to run a Unix OS on the computer, I eventually decided to install Windows XP. My decision was mainly driven by the availability of some exceptional DVD navigation packages.

The user interface being utilized is FrodoPlayer. It is a versatile piece of software that includes MP3, CD, DVD playback as well as the ability to launch external applications. It is possible to change FrodoPlayer's appearance by using custom "skins". I am using the Brushed Metal skin created by Febrian Speranza. Other good UI options include Media Engine and Media Car.

My GPS navigation software is written by Intellinav. It is available under several names: iGuidance, Routis, and MyNavigator.
